Kekova
Today was a rest day from our trekking. We took an all day boat ride around the Aegean, eating a traditional Turkish meal onboard while sunning and diving into the turquoise sea.

Here is an inlet where we stopped with boats similar to ours. We saw a sunken Lycian city, destroyed by earthquakes and a Roman necropolis in the hills.

  1. Really beautiful pictures. It must be just so awesome to be surrounded by so much history. I remember my trip to Adana when I turned 21, I thought, "St. Paul was from here." I am glad you are enjoying your trip. I think Roger misses you :-) All of us in sunday school do. Take care.

  2. Now I know why you all took a break. I found out from Marvin the route is graded medium to hard; it is not level walking, but has many ascents and descents as it approaches and veers away from the sea. The footpath is easier at the start near Fethiye, and gets more difficult as it progresses. How are you two holding up?
